I have a droid turbo 2 that doesn't work with texting over nissan connect. I can get it to work if I connect and disconnect a bunch with no rhyme or reason when or if it will work. I have reset my phone, changed text message apps, deleted the bluetooth profile, changed the name of the car bluetooth. I have verified that the messaging box is checked to allow access to the connected bluetooth device. It appears as though the car doesn't see the phone as having the ability to text and therefore disables that feature. Anyone have any success using the turbo 2? I called Nissanconnect support and they said it wasn't a supported phone. THANKS NISSAN!!!

 

It used to work well. But once the Turbo 2 was upgraded at some point, it stopped working. Personally I just use the moto assist on the Turbo 2 because that way I can respond with whatever message I want as opposed to canned messages.

 

Yeah, I posted about it a few weeks ago on this board. I'm pissed. Makes no sense. I believe the Droid Turbo 2 was supported previously, but no longer!
