Does anyone have the part numbers for the two hoses that run from the PS reservoir to the PS cooler hard lines and for the hose at the end of these hard lines (3 hoses total)? Thanks

I looked at courtesyparts.com prior to posting and got to this page...http://www.courtesyparts.com/auto-pa...and-hoses-scat. The site lists the entire cooler assembly (#13) but I was just looking for the hoses.

Just realized I was looking at the wrong parts. One of the reservoir hoses is #17 but can't find the 2nd reservoir hose.

 

A dealer recently told me that both hoses are the same part number. Actually I have one that I need to install next weekend.

 

This afternoon I found two PS Return Hoses in addition to the one in the picture. These hoses appear to be unique -- unlike the hose in the picture that connects to the reservior.

These hoses are part numbers 49725-7L600 and 49725-7L601. These are elbow hoses. One has a slightly wider bend than the other.

 

I don't think those are US part numbers. Searching for them gives Russian and other sites. Ebay does not give any results either for those two part numbers. Unless my google and ebay search voodoo is broken now.

 

I'll post pictures tonight. I would have ordered domestically, though. Wondering how the parts came with Russian numbers?

 

I looked up the part numbers on nissanpartsdeal.com and both are listed as discontinued. So finding them on a Russian website just means that they still have some.

 

I may have the last two new ones in the US. :-) I'm likely to order stuff if get wind of it being discontinue and wait for a project where I will use it. My workshop has more 4th gen parts than the 3 area dealers that I know.

Surprising that looking for those part numbers bring back so many non English sites. Thanks for all your help. I might just snip these and use regular hose and zip tie it. Might not look factory but I ain't putting my car up in shows and it should save me quite a bit over these rare hard to find hoses.

Can't we just use regular hoses with zip ties? These pre-bent ones are kind of pricey especially the first one for $67 + shipping

 

Prices like that make the U shaped hose PS cooler delete look like a very good option

 

We don't need to cool the PS fluid?

 

are these posts like a post-irony convention or what? Do all the forum posts about how "OEM only" is the only way to fly just not show up on some browsers?

i don't see how it is physically possible to bend a generic hose of the necessary ID and OD to the required radius without kinking.

if you think your best move against a leaking PS hose is to skip paying the Internet price for the correct part only to use _zip_ties_ instead then I don't know what you're even using this forum for.

After 20 years, all those PS hoses weep/leak. You'd be best advised to replace them all at once - if you don't, the leak is just going to move to the point of least resistance - eventually including every seal in the rack as well.

Look at the car, look at the parts diagrams, order each of the hoses together, replace them all in one swoop and be done with. That's what I did March 2014, I count seven hoses:
