8th Generation Rear Power Sunshade / Curtain any Issues with Tint Damage?

Over the weekend, I had 20% tint added to my 2017 Platinum. The car comes with a rear sunshade/curtain which I doubt I'll need much now, but I was wondering if I raise the shade will it scratch the tint?

I've never heard the shade hit the glass, but I was wondering if anyone else had any issues after adding tint to your rear glass?

Thanks

I have no rear tint, but have not noticed my rear screen touching the glass. If I had any doubt, I would have someone push the up and down button while I was in the back seat watching very closely.

Or, in this case, just take gizzsdad's word. I have never found him to be wrong with a post here.

I think it is designed to ride along the back window so it stays close and doesn't slap back-and-forth on the window. My problem is is when my shade is down I get some severe buzzing rattling noises when I go over bumps and have my radio up at any level. It's quite annoying so I need to get that fixed.

Just had my tint done. All is well concerning the sun shade. Enjoy!
