Electronic suspension

How do I know if I have an electronic suspension? I have a 98 i30, 157K on the clock. My strut bearings are shot and crunch when I turn. If I am going to fix them, then I should do the struts while they are out.

The car doesn't have electronic suspension. If the struts are still the original ones, definitely replace them. If the struts were replaced, the question is when. Struts only last 80 to 100K miles.

Here is a link to the service manual section for the front suspension. Take a look at page 21 that shows all the parts and torque specifications.

Only the motor mounts on the GLE were 'electronic'.

Thanks for the info. I have the FSM, but thanks for the attachment. I was looking online at struts and some sights say with and without electronic suspension. I did not think the cars have an electronic suspension, so I did not know what they are talking about.

Get Monroe quick struts. There's a $100 rebate on the set of four until the end of April
