i currently have a pacesetter cattback system and the muffler has a nice rust hole that happened when it broke off from the hanger. i don't need a whole new set up, but would like to replace the muffler with something that sounds similar to the pacesetter. i know there's a few options, i have a warpspeed y-pipe so i'd like something that will flow with that w/o being too loud or expensive. suggestions, or if somebody can find a pacesetter muffler to complete my set up back to normal i'd be happy.

 

They have a huge muffler variety. The stock piping 2.0vs2.5 which size you have.

 

well, the one i have is no longer made i'm told. i suppose i could go with another 2.5 inch, but i don't know what the sound would be. that is my problem.

 

The exhaust from y-pipe on to the axle back muffler. Are you running a 2.0/2.5 piping. If your 2.5 you are gonna need a 2.5 axle back to the rest of the exhaust, unless your fabricated exhaust and your cut and welded pieces together.

 

well, called pacesetter and they had one muffler left like the one i have!! 89.00 plus shipping seems about right for this. just hope it holds together longer than the last one. new in the box too. woot
