I've tried 2 different kind of t5 LEDs one was 3 led, dim and hot-spottyish. Then a single led, brighter but more noticeable hotspots even after sanding it down.

​​​​​​on eBay it seems like these are the only ones being sold and are even listed as for gauge cluster use. Can I add more Leds somehow in the dim spots?

Anyone got any red LEDs for the dash they'd recommend for being bright without Hotspots?

Edit: I think I'll try an led strip I might even have a red one laying around
