Need help

I'm having issues with my 96 maxima , I've lost power while I rough it from 1st to 2nd and up to 3rd also makes a backfire kinda redline sound but ain't even close to a redline ... any suggestions peeps?

Is the CEL lit.? If so what are the codes? Any maintenance you have performed had performed recently?

No check engine light no shake no nothin WHICH IS COMPLETELY WEIRD I owned a 05 Altima before and for everything the check engine light would turn on this one is a straight up mystery.. I miss passing up on all hondas and playing with big heavy cars now it's like a shame to even wanna go fast cause of the lag

Your problem could be one or more things. Coilpacks, injectors, MAF etc etc.

Check for codes anyway, maybe your CEL is burnt out.

No codes bro nothin it's a straight mystery.. I'm most likely gonna just end up doing a full tune up and see what happens ... thanks peeps

Mine was misfiring last year, no cel was thrown.. it ended up being the coils. Replaced all 6 with brand new Hitachi coils.. a year later, zero problems.
