How do you disassemble the key fob?
It depends on how the key is made. Nissan made them at least 2 different ways.
Some keys are made of 2 halves and snap together Those you can wedge something thin into the edge and pry the pieces apart.
Other keys are a molded piece of plastic and the chip snaps in. Those keys you have to carefully cut apart to get the chip out.

OK, let's try to help the OP here.
I have a broken remote too that I've been trying to fix. This got me motivated to order a new housing. I just used a small screwdriver and my fingernails to pry it apart.

I used Gorilla Glue to reattach the bottom piece of my fob when it broke off. It is still holding up many months later.
Though I could probably use a new case anyway because my buttons have not had labels for a great many years.

I also just bought a new one from a Nissan dealer for $120. It uses a different plastic, is colored differently, and has raised lettering on the back that's annoying.
There are a bunch of places on-line that sell the Nissan key fob as well as generics. I have used ikeyless.com in the past and did not have any problems. Currently a Nissan Key fob is $100 and their own brand is $35.
My personal opinion is to avoid used key fobs because of their age as they most likely have a limited life left.

I bought my Nissan fob used on eBay nearly 10 years ago and it still works perfectly.
I have an aftermarket fob, purchased new from KeylessRide through eBay, that no longer works. As soon as I put in the batteries the LED illuminates (indicating a button is pressed), remains lit, and the buttons do not work. Even when it did work, there was a noticeable delay between a button press and the car receiving the signal. Also the remote window roll down function never worked with that remote.
