True ground connection on the drivers side under the hood?

Does anyone know if there is a true ground on the driver's side (other than the battery)? I'm looking for a connection for the ground wire coming from my HID wiring harness, but don't want to use the battery if at all possible.

First, get a test light, you can make one with an old headlight bulb and some wiring with clips. Then put one end on the pos terminal, then start touching bolts with the other end. I installed a grounding kit on the 07, there were tons of grounding locations under the hood...and all pretty strong. Wish I could help beyond that, I don't work on the wife's 16 much at all.

Great idea MadMax....I never even thought of that! My son has a test light I can use. Thanks for your suggestion!

pretty much and bolt going into the body of the car can be used as ground. Trace the battery ground connection cable, it should be attached to the body and can be used as well.
