Will someone send me a pic or explain which wire is ground on the camshaft position sensor phase harness. Obviously I know its black but does it ho on left ot right. My car is the 2001 maxima 20th anniversary edition. 3.0L I used a tool to pull out the pin to fix wire exposure, so nothing would short out, and I forgot to remember which wire is which. Now I have wires fixed but I don't want to insert them backwards. Please help?! I feel dumb.

Don't feel dumb .... but don't be lazy either; you may have to do a little bit of work:
- Download the FSM from here: http://boredmder.com/FSMs/Nissan/Maxima/ (you'll need at least the EC and the GI sections)
- Page EC-407 has the wiring diagram for the camshaft sensor.
- The diagram will show you that pin 1 of the camshaft sensor connector should be connected the ground.
- To determine which one of the two pins is #1, see the explanation in the GI section of the FSM. In particular, read the chapter on how to read the wiring diagrams and connector symbols (starts on pg. GI-11).
