Let me start my saying I’m so happy a came across this website. Came on her many times before I just signed to be a member
Proud owner of a 2001 Infiniti i30. I’ve had fin, my car close to 4 mostly trouble free years. Bought her with 120,000 highway miles and drives like a champ. Done work, like new alternator, radiator fans(myself), right passenger wheel bearing, starter, brakes and of course, normal oil changes. Recently the car threw the dreaded codes p1320, po430, and p0303. I knew the cylinder 3 was going out, it was slightly misfiring. Just changed all plugs with NGK double platinum as this website recommended as well as changing the 3rd coil with a hitachi branded coil, from what I read, any other brand will continue to throw 1320p. After I replaced all plugs, and #3 coil with oem hitachi, the car runs beautifully! She purs! Well, when I got home, I ran another test. This Time, the code p1320came back as well as p0430. I’ve exhausted YouTube videos,( lots of maxima videos!!) do any of you fine experts have any idea what it could be? Could it be the primary ignition condenser? I hope it is, because it’s a rather easy fix! Thank you!
