Time to bring back the Maxima.

This is the turbo that was installed hung very low and I had a pump to help get the oil to the pan never really worked well.

Final picture of the battery installed.

This is after I cut the old turbo and waste gate out. Notice the custom motor mount and cross member.

I was able to run the new battery cable in the factory harness run.

Ran the new power wire right to the starter.
Many years agao I bulit my 1996 Maxima when I lived in Florida and drove it there had many fun times over the years I've lost interest in it and I could not get it to pass emissions out here in Colorado due to the smoking from the low mounted turbo. So now after the car has been sitting for years I've even tried to sell it a few times I've decided to bring it back to life by moving the battery to the trunk and then getting a new turbo and mounting it higher up so the oil can drain. I will update as progress comes along. Below is a list of whats been done to it.

2008 3.5l engine with 3.0l timing
Murano fuel rail
39lb injectors from a Ford.
300zx mass air flow sensor.
Aem fic6 piggyback ecm (I think I was the first one to get this to work back in the day)
2001 maxima front breaks.
2003 maxima wheels.
5 way adjustable struts with lowering springs.
Adjustable camber plates camber is set to -1.2 degrees I think
Dyno jet wide band air fuel ratio gauage.
Matching boost gauage
Under car front brace.
Rear strut tower bar
Spec stage 3+ clutch
Fidenza flywheel.

I'm sure there are more I'm missing let me know if you guys have any questions.

Wow. After all the mods, it's not even a 4th Gen anymore! No wonder it wouldn't pass smog! Lol. Be glad you're not in California.

Is your intention just to race it? Or are you trying to make it registerable and street legal?

I had it pass before and I will get it to pass again I want to have a fun street car I'm thinking about 10psi if I blow this engine up then I will get another and do a stand alone.. I bet this engine has less than 10k miles it has 491 when I installed it .. it came from a new maxma when I was at the dealer they got the car and two weeks later hydro locked it insurance paid me to replace the engine and I fixed what I pulled out.
