don't want to jinx myself, but.........

i FINALLY got the max running right, no more smoke, no more stalling, no more black soot out of the exhaust. replaced part of the intake ( resonator box. ripped boot ) and a curved piece that might been part of the problem all along!!! drove me nuking futs trying to get maxy running right, and i mean i cleared ALL of the codes, new everything and i still have a couple of things left to do, ( front valve cover gasket, power steering leak ) but she runs like she used to a few years ago, and i mean good!!! so frickin happy, starts, has plenty of power, and runs smooth. thanks to all the op that helped along the way, i still love this car and wanted to keep her for a few more years and finally i got her back in daily driving shape. anyone interested, i can give a full list of all the parts, where i got them and price, ( if i can ) just pm me and i'll try my best to help.

Yippie! Yay.

Congratulations.

Remind us....

What were the syptoms.

Which wild goose chases did you try first?

What was really wrong with it?

We all learn from each other's failures and success stories.

Glad she's up and running well there, bud.

Looking clean as always. Looks like you still use that Zymol, eh?
