WTB: RS5F50V 5 speed Manual Transmission

I am looking to pickup a 5 speed manual transmission for my 2001 Nissan Maxima that recently had the transmission go out. I would prefer a 20AE RS5F50V found in the manual 20th anniversay maxima with the VLSD, though would consider another RS5F50A if the price was right since those I come across but would rather find one with LSD to replace the old one. Located in the San Francisco Bay Area in California, and am willing to pay for shipping for a RS5F50V if it was reasonable, though for the non LSD model it would have to be a great deal to consider it.

Send me a DM with what you have, and hopefully if you what I'm looking for, we can work out some sort of deal.

Car-part.com has 7 i30t VLSD 5MTs listed. It also has 4 AE VLSD 5MTs, with the closest of those in San Bernardino.

If you get one one these there all going to be bad. They will only last a little while. They are all defective.

At this point a 20 year old transmission is a gamble but I don't completely agree with that. My 1st had high miles (100kish) before the diff bearings went, ended up putting another 20k on it only doing the diff bearings before I parted the car. My 2nd I ran in between changing the diff bearings on the 1st. It had 100kish on it total, 30-40k on new bearings and dozens of track passes before 1st gear STB.
