Ugly license plate....
Any suggestions on mounting license plate, I don't like the look of my plate on the front of the car, would like to black out the front end of car, not much choice on the placement, but you never know. 2016 maxima

Ive seen those around especially in East coast and west coast states, I don't think they are ugly I guess they don't want to mount in the middle for a number of reasons, such as drilling hole into bumper, or the optimal airflow to the grille. etc... who knows they aren't that bad looking, Chrysler had similar in factory set up back in the 80' with the Fifth Avenue and the Dodge Diplomat because the bumper is almost angle so they mounted on the end of the bumper driver side
Thanks for your input, it's not so much that I don't like the license plate, I would just prefer to have a blacked out grille, I'm a
Canadian, not all of our provinces (states) require a front plate, but mine does.

I was referring to the no front plate in general. Obviously everyone has a preference of how they want they car to look. Personally, I don’t like how it looks with the plate in the front. Just saying to each their own. If you’re driving like a maniac then you’re attracting attention and giving an officer a reason to pull you over.
Regardless of one’s driving tendencies, the law in California requires that all passenger vehicles registered in the State display both front and rear license plates. Please correct me if I’ve mis-spoken as I reside in FL.
One’s knowing and wanton disregard for the law, for the sake of appearance or convenience or attention, doesn’t make one cool or a rebel.
That’s the attitude I speak of.

What drives me nuts is how some states require front license plates and others do not. Makes no sense ( but it does make cents. LOL). Generally speaking, I think driving rules, regulations and codes should be the same for all states. And I'm all for making them the least restrictive as possible.
