Question: 225/55/17's on 7.5" rims

What are the concerns, if any, of taking 225/55/17's currently mounted on my stock 17x7" SE rims and mounting them on 17x7.5" rims?

Thanks in advance.

I think 225/50/17 will fit on a 6 - 8 inch wheel... I've been looking into new tires and that's what most sites list as acceptable rim sizes for the stock tire.

You should loose a little sidewall, but that should not be a problem. Should actually look better I think. Am I wrong about the sidewall thing? I have 225/50/ZR17 on the same size rim...
