Exclamation 8th Gen Front Lip: Stillen VS. IKON VS. Universal

Hello all,

I've been in the market for a front lip for our 8th gen maxima, obviously we don't really have any options besides the Stillen front lip or the IKON front lip (knock off brand) which is currently out of stock. I was considering IKON at first but from reviews and what not, theres a lot adjusting/molding involved to fit decently. Is it worth spending $320 for a Stillen front lip? or does anyone here have any experience with the IKON brand. They currently have a carbon fiber version and its substantially cheaper than Stillen. Also just for giggles, has anyone tried a universal front lip? I looked around eBay and this was the universal lip that I came across that fits the 8th gen maxima.

Thanks in advance,

I installed my Stillen lip about a year ago. Right before Covid I helped a buddy install an off brand eBay one on his 18 SR. I don’t know specifically if it was an Ikon lip or not, but I will say that the fit and finish was better on the Stillen lip.

Stillen is a good company, I don’t mind paying a bit more to support a company that makes quality aftermarket parts for us car geeks.

I can’t say everyone would share that belief. As a 370z owner I’ve seen their poorly designed/fitted front bumpers, and their questionable supercharger setup. I am debating on the splitter and the diffuser from stillen but haven’t pulled trigger due to seeing all of their poor fitting 370 stuff.
