How do I reset the ecm on my 1999 nissan maxima gxe model?

 

What do you mean by “reset”?

... and for what reason do you feel you need to reset the ECU?

Typically, disconnecting the (-) battery cable and depressing the brake pedal for 30 sec. will drain the e-system and clear all stored DTCs, if that’s what you’re wanting to accomplish.

 

You literally copied and pasted what turbo said...what’s your deal man?

I just took notice of this in another thread re: an IAT sensor ... how completely lame on this jack-a**’s part.
