2010 maxima repair questions
Hey guys,
I own a 2010 nissan maxima sv, for anyone who cares its the all black one. I don't drive it a ton due to covid as well as working entirely online and going to university online. I probably didn't drive it for around a month and a half while it sat in my driveway in Wisconsin. Bit of a long story so I'll try to keep it short, went to go start it a couple nights ago to put a little mileage on it, and found it completely dead. I'm not the most car literate person in the world, but I can do a lot of the basic stuff like change my own oil and can jump a car haha. After around 45 minutes trying to jump it to no avail, I gave up and had my neighbor try a spare battery he had in it, also to no avail. Ended up getting it towed to the local dealership and was told the battery is indeed toast, and the positive terminal hookup I guess? was cracked. As well as the heat shield was completely missing, and the exhaust was missing 2 clamps? On further inspection they also found extensive rodent damage to I believe the engine wiring harness and quoted me $2200 to fix all of the issues listed above. I'm wondering if this is a fair price or not? Looking things up on this forum it looks like engine wiring harnesses are usually 1k+ with parts and labor so I'm kind of assuming its a fair price? The car has a lot of sentimental value to me, is very enjoyable to drive, and it only has 77k miles on it, was wondering what you cool people thought about it?
Thank you to anyone who reads this in advance.

No one but yourself can answer your subjective questions any differently than you can, as anyone who felt as you do about your car would do the same thing you would do if you indeed loved the car the way you say you do.
If you need help/info on anything objective, there are certainly knowledgeable people here who will chime in and get you pointed in the right direction.
