Accelerator/Charging/Voltage problems

2004 Maxima, 54k miles. Was given to my son by his mother-in-law. Car was great for a few months, then suddenly, out of nowhere the car would not accelerate. Press on the throttle and ZERO. Put it in neutral and it would rev but back into drive and back to nothing. When this happens all electronics in the car stop working and the gauges get crazy. I finally realized that a low battery was causing this so I replaced the battery and everything worked for a week or so and then it began to happen again. I check battery and it was discharged so I figured it was the alternator. I changed it out and everything seemed to work for about 2 months and then it all started happening again. I figured it was bad luck and got the alternator warrantied out (even though it tested good) and installed a new one. All good for another month or so and then the same problem so I bought a new battery and once again all good for a few weeks before back to the same problem. I was told it might be the battery fuse block so I changed that. no difference. I bought a better OBD reader and I can see that when running its putting out right at 12.1 / 12.2 volts with everything off. Turning on the AC, lights and radio bring it down to about 11.5 volts.

Three alternators, two batteries and I am still having the same issue. Any thoughts and/or ideas? I'm about to push it into the street and set it on fire...

It should be 13.3-14.2 area while idling, have you checked the connector and wiring harness to the alternator to make sure they're okay?

When you changed the alternator initially and it was good for 2 months was it regularly driven? it would seem at that point something is cooking the alternator or its intermittently working like a wiring issue, but when running if its only 12.1-12.2v max that's too low

Can it scan all the modules in the car? You may check the IPDM.

Your car (1) is a 2004 and you have (2) had the same issue with three alternators. I would look at all the "grounds." If you're not "grounded" properly, then you're gonna have low voltage issues.
