Getting the front seats right

My 2004 Maxima has tired looking front seats. There are no rips nor tears, but the finish on the seats is rubbed and has lines in it. I read that Maximas/Infinitis have a variety of power seat configurations, so I'm hoping to avoid the sand trap of power seat troubleshooting. There seems to be an abundance well preserved seats up North. Do I try to restore the existing seat surface? Do I look for replacement seats? What's the smart solution? Is replacing seat cushions while keeping the seat frame an ordeal?

It's interesting that while Southern cars are often rust-free, the interior gets cooked. I noticed that it's common to see Northern rust buckets with excellent interiors. Would Nothern salvage yards be a good place to look for better seats?
