I have a enduro race car maxima 6 speed that I possibly blew the motor on. I also have a 2007 Altima 3.5 I was wondering if the Altima motor can go into my maxima. I don’t care about check engine lights or if tach works or any of that only care that it runs good

 

Yes, based on the upper intake it looks like this is the same as the “hr swap” aka 09-14 maxima motor, not a direct swap but straight forward. Tons of guides on this forum, youtube, facebook, my4dsc, etc.

 

so change intake and some sensors and it should work? I just wanted to make sure it wasn’t a swap heads or different reluctor wheel on the crank type of deal

Covers pretty much everything. Youd be better off using a maxima motor for the gains but one out of an altima shouldnt hurt.

 

the only thing not mentioned on the Nisformance guide is using 3 washers to align the alternator. when doing research on the swap I noticed people mentioning using 3 M10 washer on the lower alternator bolt to move it a bit more towards the front of the engine to align the belt. i used RTV to make a 3 washer spacer.
