A Real Rim Showdown!
A Real Rim Showdown!
Post Your ONE ideal rim out of anything. It can be for lightness/racing, looks, whatever. Your FAVORITE! You could have some lightazz 5Zigen's on your Max but love those heavy azz chrome Neeper Dubs.
As far as me....
But I just bought these... In an 18" flavor

My favorite rims are Momo Arrows, but they are way too heavy and expensive.
My second fav. are on my car

Now obviously if I had thousands and thousands to spend on rims I would get like oz or racing harts or Volks, but for the average man these rims are very nice IMHO.
They are cheap, good built quality, come in 17x8, and weigh 19.9 pounds each.
According to Cheston's scale in weight of rims:
12-16lbs. - Ideal for racing
17-24lbs. - Good for racing
25+lbs. - Too heavy and performance will suffer.

Actually, those aren't it. The ones I like are dual 6 spoke wheels, similar to those pics, but with 6 instead of 5 spokes.

http://www.racinghart.com/wheels_rac.asp The middle one in the top row is the M6, I think the ones you posted are their CP-035 with the new silver/chrome finish.

OZ Monte Carlos (All-time, but they are retired), and
Mille Miglia MM11.2 or AT Italia Inox (for currently- manufactured models).
Realistic:
Rota Subzeros- Gunmetal.
