7th Gen Maxima QUESTION!

Hello, everyone I recently “floored” my cars gas pedal simply to hear the exhaust at its full potential it’s the only time I’ve ever floored this specific car, keep in mind it was a used car with 80k miles when I first got it 3 years back it’s now at 91k, Maintenance is all up to date including the fluids, Who knows how many times the car was floored prior to me purchasing it but I just feel guilty about doing it and wanted to make sure it didn’t affect the car in any harmful way! Thoughts?

You don't say "How" you went WOT. Did you do this in gear? In Park? If the car wasn't in gear and you just punched it and released it, probably no issue at all. If you did this in gear, well all sorts of strain on other parts like CVT, Axles, etc. would be impacted.

Nah I was just in normal Drive mode but I would think it’s a better idea to WOT when the car is actually moving rather then Park or Neutral, I don’t even think I really floored it all the way and it was only for a few seconds so I don’t know why I’m trippin about it but id figure I’d ask also first time I’ve ever “floored” it while I’ve owned it for the past 3 years or so anyways.
