anyone seen a stillen y-pipe lately?!

i have been looking for about a week for a stillen y-pipe, and i can't find anyone who sells em. stillen doesn't list them in their online cat any more, and i've only seen one other place that lists them, but their cat hasn't been updated since october of last year...

anyone know where i can find a new one for about $350 or do i have to use the cattman??

fs forum?

There's usually at least 1 or 2 people trying to unload their stealin ypipe on the for sale/ wanted forum. Check ebay too, two or three have sold their over the past couple months, none on it right now, but keep an eye out. Unless you want that really loud stillen setup that i've heard of with muffler ypipe and bpipe, i'd recommend you to warpspeed's product line. cheaper and better quality IMO, plus really good customer service. www.warpspeedperformance.com. good luck

nah, i haven't called them. they always act like ****s when i call.

so, max425, you have the warpspeed y on your max? did it give you much hp? i just got a greddy cat back, and i really need a y to open it up. you think it will be better than the cattman?

i called cattman last week about getting a cai kit, but they were on backorder. the weird thing is, the lady who answered the phone didn't work at cattman!! she was all like, "what company are you calling for?" and then she took my order on a sheet of paper!! what the hell's up with that? you think cattman could at least have a computer and a phone!!! lol needless to say, i dropped my order for the cai...i figured i'd prob never see it considering the circumstances. i'm gonna try them again as soon as i get all my exhaust on.

I think the general consensus is that Cattman SS is the superior pipe, but it also costs the most. Stillen's is expensive as hell too, except its not SS, and it has horrible bees in the can sound. Stillens pipe would be my absolute last choice. If I were purchasing the pipe brand new, I'd probably go with 1)Warpseed, 2) Cattman SS, 3) Budget, 4) Stillen. In that order. I bought my cattman used, and I feel its the best pipe, but its very expensive new.

To make a long story short, the stillen pipe sucks, there are constantly people on here selling their stillen pipe to get a different brand.

Sounds like stillen cheaped-out on there y pipe, i was going to by one too. Now that i think about i think I'm going with the Warpspeed pipe. The Warpspeed pipe has some many positives, SS, nice welds, yeah F#(& stillen there a joke anyways.

I got the budget Y, its stainless stell and only cost $175US shipped. I tried like hell to put it on, but i couldnt get to the nuts(I guess i need more tools or a lift) I called around for prices to put it in, they were all around 170, according to the service book. so I got the guy at midas to do it, and replace all my hangers and mounts for $150. I think its a bit pricey, but i dont have access to a lift or know anyone that welds. I have no loud noise (bees in a can). The price cant be beat and it really zhelps out the top end I pull to 135 no problem now. Well worth the price.

I know its a bit much, but i'm away at college and dont know any good shops around here, everyone down here just told me meinike (sp?) or midas, so i didn't have many options.

My car now gets to 135-140 alot quicker than it did before.

No good

Stilen pipes are junk cause they use a 2.25 inch piping, warpspeed and cattmen use 2.50 inch pipe. BIGGER piping means more flow.
