2010-2012 Nissan Maxima Loses Power, Dash Lights Go Out, Zero Acceleration...
I am trying to get some ideas on what could be wrong with my daughter's Maxima..
It's a 2010 or 2012 Maxima... She be driving it and the dash lights flicker/dim/go out and there is absolutely ZERO acceleration.
But if it's put in Neutral, it revs up just fine..
I thought it might be a bad batter so I replaced the battery and it seemed to work fine for like 50-60 miles and then the same problem developed..
I don't know much about cars to begin with and these newer models are even more confusing...
Would anyone be able to put me on the right path to figuring out what's wrong with her car??
Any advice, hints or tips would be greatly appreciated..

Sounds like the alternator has failed, as the new battery failed in just a short time. Have the alternator tested, if it's bad then make sure the replacement is an OEM alternator. Those off the shelf ones at parts stores just don't work very long in these cars.
