High speed driving in Grand Island(between buffalo/Niagara falls). 2K+ witht he roof ripped off(but the rest of car was in good shape) went into the water. The passager woke up underwater and got out! The driver was likely ejected. They haven't found his body. The EVEN LOWERED THE RIVER by letting more water out for the power generation. Its sad. He wasn't street racing, but driving fast. Driver was 18 or 19.

That's sorta weird cause just last night I had a bad dream that me and my two passengers were taking a shortcut through a frozen lake (don't know why) in the dark and just as we get 20 feet from shore we hear a splash and start sinking. There was a mad panic to open the doors and get out as the car started to roll upside down under water.

I had a very bad feeling waking up from this dream yet I was relieved it was only a dream. It's too bad that the people in your story didn't have that luxery. Hope they find the driver.
