Website of my Maxima getting ripped apart - Pics!

Ok folks, I'm doing lots of stuff to my car lately and taking lots of pictures so I thought I'd put up a cheesey site for your viewing pleasure. Please do not pick/flame me because of the worksmanship I have. I am not up to par with you real mechanics, like Don, Matthel, MardiGras, etc. I will be replacing my clutch, brake pads, and suspension. Enjoy the first taste. Lots more to come.

Doesnt take long here. People all hit the site at once then kill it. You might wanna try somewhere else to try to find another hosting place.

Man, there's a few things I've never seen before:

1) Rust under a Maxima (I guess from all the snow/salt?)

2) Snow shovels (winters get a brisk 35-40 f here in Houston).

Yup, they just randomly salt the roads around here in the winter, even if there's no snow on the ground.

Thats a pretty cool thing your doing, documenting it and all. One comment though, you commented on how you removed the spring from the car with out a spring compressor. I have never heard of anyone taking the spring/shocks off the car "with a spring compressor" . Just unbolt everything and take them off Good luck on the rest of teh job, I hope everything works out.

Fixed that so I don't look too much like a tool. Thanks Emax!

No Deezo, I'm shamed to admit but Daddy's credit card is what's flowing right now. Still have no job, and my car is falling apart, so that means I have lot's of time to fix it.

Sprint, honestly, there wasn't much of a difference. I have my AGX's so I'm just gonna order some springs. No more 4x4'ing for me.

Lime, I miss all you guys too!!

Mike, what are you doing tomorrow night? I don't have anything to do and if your going to work on the car, I could probably stop through to help. I'll bring some tools too. Do you still have my cell number?

Dana, I don't have your cell#, I must have deleted that PM. If you could PM it again that would be awesome. I havn't decided if I'm actually going to work on the car tommorow night, because, hey it's friday night. But if I do decide to work on it, the Tranny will be coming out, unfortunately I don't have the new clutch to put in yet.

Oh yeah the site is updated a little bit. I added pics of the Axle removal.

I'll only paint them silver, if I actually ever do. Colors look a bit too ricey for me. Bah, the tailpipe! Who cares what the car looks like, as long as it runs and runs fast, I'm happy.

Yeah, and I'm not even doing a 5-speed conversion. Just replacing the clutch, and a few other things along the way.
