Anyone had a bad fuel injector? What a beginning symptoms?

 

Engine is rough and slight loss of power. I had one go out. My wife didn;t even notice. I could tell a loss of power and rough idle - computer told me injector bad. It was right...

 

You should know something is wrong.

 

hesitation/stumble/loss of power would be the most notable. It'll seem as if the engine is running on 5 cylinders.

 

When my number 3 injector was faulty, my check engine light never went on...
My car just hesitated big time, major loss of power and sounded like a mustang's V8 with loud exhaust sputtering.

 

what others said.... I had an injector failure on my old max. I think I had 2 of them now that I think of it... But acceleration suffered a lot, even my fuel economy was down a little bit, maybe it was just very clogged and dirty, and wasn't spraying right.

 

i wonder if i might be suffering from this. I'm just hitting my 60K tune-up. When i floor my car there is some bad hesitation and its not totally consistant. Someitmes it will hesitate @ lower RPMs, and sometimes around 4-5s....
What do you guys think?
