SC guys who have run a 3.25 pulley

I had 3.25 installed today but my mechanics say the belts are rubbing against the SC housing or against some bracket or something! I have to go there to see for sure but has anyone else run into this problem? I ha to pay for them to pull down the SC to change the pulley...and now they put it back together only to have to pull it apart again because the belts are rubbing pretty bad! Can anything be done? Help!

Shout to Jhans114 for letting me know he had to shave the bracket to get the smaller pulleys to fit! Can anyone else confirm that the bracket does indeed need to be shaved? Pics would be cool too. Need help fast! Kev where are joo?

so...does that mean that the bracket is not supposed to be shaved? Have you heard anything different?

The belt does rub, but it's not as bad as you think it does. If you want, you can shave down the bracket a bit so the belt will clear.

Dremel...

Ok, so I've consulted w/a few different people about it and it seems pretty unanimous! You have to sahve a groove into the bracket when you get a 3.33 pulley or smaller or else the belts will rub against the SC bracket. My mechanics will work on it today! Thanx to everyone who helped out!
