ok, i got this guy at work.....saying my car is crap and the whole nine yards.....my question is......I have a 96 max 100k miles....y-pipe back exhaust, hybrid airintake and 5 speed...do i have a chance against him? hes got this 3.5 litre engine.....

 

Dude said your car is crap???? Now thats funny coming from a Chrysler owner. You should beat him real good with your mods if your a good shifter.

 

I agree with Deezo, you will have to be on your game to take him. It will be close.

 

You should kill him with a 5 speed and mods. I beat one when I was stock. Those are like 7.5 sec. 0-60 cars. I drove my boss's and it felt much slower than my car and the manual shift mode on it sucked worse than I could imagine. He was ****ed because after I drove it he had probs with the car (about 10k miles on it) and thinks it's my fault. I didn't drive it nearly as hard as I drive my 97k mile max.

after further talking with him....he wants to have a top speed test...there is a triangular oval track somewhere near here...what he wants to do is see whos gonna get to their top speed first....hmmm....

I think that POS is limited to like 118 so he definetly will reach his top speed before you reach yours, 140+
Unless he has the one with the sport package(?) which goes up way up there. If that's the case, you'll reach yours faster with the help of the 5spd & Y pipe/Intake combo.
