Where the hell is everybody's money? It seems that the more interest that people show, the less money that seems to come in. I already have six money orders. If a few of you could buy in, then we can get these damn things made. The six of us that have already paid are still waiting on the rest of you that said you were gonna send your money. I don't get it. I had at least 15 people who said they were down and ready to send money. It's just $450 people, not a few thousand dollars. Honestly, how hard is it to come up with $225 down and then the rest later. I need to know if the rest of you are serious or not because you guys are holding us back.

Not to try to be rude enough to say "I told you so", but I knew this would happen and I mentioned it earlier..

everyone always talks about eveyrthing they're going to do, then when the time comes to put the money down, you're lucky to have 1 in 20 that actually do it.
same thing when I set up group buys on other parts. that's why I don't waste my time with it anymore.

yah fiber glass.. or carbon fiber...

i dunno anything else? if your skilled enough you could make your own fiberglass hood, they sell fiberglass weave at place's like home depot.. even walmart has similar product.

but you would need a large enough oven, and large enought refriderator to do so

Hmm....that sucks. Although I agree with Matt! I think it's time to do some thread searching and track down all those people who committed to buying. They're not gonna openly come out about it. Single them all out.

Re: Re: To all those who said they wanted a carbon fiber hood...

I am in debt a lot of money and forked up about $1900 for my tranny and seals but still took one of my checks and sent $225. I really don't like CF look but I love having the wieght reduction and being the reason why we have one more product out there for arre maximas. **** I heard so many complaints that 4th gens are better because of the S/c and how much more available and you would buy if aviable. That ****es me off that people are all talk no show, **** I say Im in or will help get more products available I don't back out when the time comes!! There would be a S/C available if we all really where commited to getting one. Stealin would not say no if there was money in front of them

This is a good deal...

where do I send $225 to? somebody email me. I would love to save the weight and have a somewhat unique/rare mod. I didn't say I was in before, but with that down and the rest later you can't go wrong. Thanks whoever put this together (David C.?)

let me know

if I remember correctly...he said in another post the rest gets paid when the hoods are completed(in a few months). but thats only if they can get 10 orders to begin with. I feel sorry for those that paid and now people are backing out on them...that blows big time!

but those CF hoods are pretty worthwhile too...I felt one on a Sentra the other day at the track...I think the stock hood was 30-40lbs and the CF was only 9lbs!!!!!!

Here's the deal

I have four money orders here with me right now. There's supposedly another two that are lost in the mail, but I'm not sure how accurate this is. Both of these money orders should have arrived by now. There's another person that is waiting on his insurance company to come through with a check and then countless other people who said they were interested, but have apparently backed out. For those of you who are seriously interested, your help would put us much closer to the ten people needed. The hoods will cost $225 down (50% of the total) and then the other $225 plus shipping will be due upon completion. These hoods retail for $600 plus shipping, but they have extended me the $450 plus shipping price. Send your money orders as soon as possible to:

David Cohen
17423 Courtney Pine Cir.
Spring, TX 77379

Please include a slip of paper that includes your name, address, email address and telephone number. This will help me get a hold of you guys in case I have to. Please pass this info to any of your other third gen buddies. And remember, the faster I get your money, the faster we can get these damn things made.

Thanks,
David C.

Shipping will probably be around $75-$100 per hood depending on where you live. This is just a ballpark. I'm not certain how much exactly. Once the money is received, it will apporximately take a month turn around. This is from the time I send my hood in to the time you receive yours. Do not worry about money orders expiring, I will cash them before it's too late. At any rate, I work at a bank so I have connections in case this may happen.

Thanks,
David C.

Re: Re: to everybody

I received two money orders today so that puts the total at six money orders. We're only four short...If Obsidian Ice, Da-Max, Pearl93, and Big Dog send their money, we'll have ten. Keep the MO's coming.

Thanks guys,
