SPY Engr announces FULL COILOVER kits for 95->2k+...*read*

Hello guys.
GREAT news. SPY engineering of San Diego CA has annouced their line of FULL COILOVER systems for 4th AND 5th generation maximas. These lower the car from to 0 -> 3 inches, with dual perch springs.... These are GERMAN-MADE coilover kits used for the European spec Maximas and now are available here in the United States for the first time.. The gas cartridges are replaceable (from what i've read about the specs) and seems like a great all-in-one choice compared to JIC's or cattman's kits....

Here's a some general info on the units:
Nitrogen gas: filled from 14-22 bar
Big Diameter Pistons: offer great performance & cooling
Unique Piston Designs: offer instantaneous control yet plush ride
Precision Rods: precision ground chrome in 14mm shock & 22mm strut sizes
Seals & Dust Scrapers: superior in form and function can withstand over 400 bar
Top Quality Oil: Motul low friction hydraulic oil used for consistent and stable viscosity over wide temp. range
Serviceable: fully rebuildable for service or modification
Strut Inserts: used in shock tubing for perfect tubes with no distortions; all welding done on outer tube; no distortions
Mounts: use solid molded blocks, not cheap rubber

Advantages of Mono-tube Shocks vs. Twin Tube Shocks
Very wide damping rates can be achieved through bigger diameter pistons and shims designs
Plush feel and full control over all piston speeds through higher gas and damping rates
Cools faster and more reliable throughout the single precision tube shock body
Bigger diameter piston rods can be used because of bigger internal chambers with sufficient oil
Can withstand higher pressures and temperatures without aeration or foaming
Can be installed in any position due to separate oil and gas chambers

A little about the coilover system itself:
Uses conventional shock types as well as 40mm inverted systems for premium strength, cooling and performance
Up to 80mm of height adjustment
1.25mm adjustment per rotation
Dual locking adjustment
Perfect fit applications
Top Quality hardware and materials

About the springs used:
Wafios CNC Coiled; Chrome Silicon Steel; Shot Peened; Blocked & Set
Rate Tested; Linear & Progressive Designs; Cold Wound up to 17mm
Hot Wound 18mm; Made in Sweden & Germany, and Lifetime Warranty

Sounds pretty interesting eh? Well, they have several sets they want to release to the public for a special intro pricing.... If anyone is interested, please feel free to email for questions.. i'm in the middle of talking to SPY about getting a first round group deal going for us and MaximaDriver.com readers...

Sounds reasonable... now all we have to find out is if they're reliable, unlike some others *cough*Cattman*cough*.

Ooooh, oooooh, got to do my taxes!

Keep us posted.

Any background available on SPY Engr.?

Any feedback from other applications?

I've never heard of them before, so how do they compare with JIC?

Stillen makes coilovers? No, they just copied someone elses design and call it there own.
