New Nissan SUV anyone?

Nissan's going to start selling a new SUV, called Murano. THought I'd share. Got an e-mail about it at work yesterday. Darn it, they had one at work a few days back and I didn't know about it, else I would've been able to check out an actual vehicle

Oh well, March 27th it is then (to see it fully revealed).

I'm not really a fan of those triangular shaped lights that seems to be favored by every car manufacturer now.

But yeah, I like the back. And that is a new grille style Nissan is using, the design is similar on a few other vehicles, e.g., Primera, Stagea.

That looks like a even uglier version of the FX45. If they build these things there going to wish they never did. The designers must be a bunch of drunks.

DA-MAX, youre going to have to change your signature... GM has supposedly approved bringing the Commodore SS to the US as the new Impala SS (Motor Trend April 2002).

Seems the Nissan version of the Infiniti FX-45, more like a "cross-over vehicle" than a SUV.

oh yes.....I've heard, you know whats even better....they matched this bad boy up against the M5, the M5 won but the margin was rather small! check out this article...when a car gets matched up with M5 you know theres something special about it...and an "American-based" car at that!!! Germans better watch their asses....

The rear reminds me a lot of the BMW X5 the way the tail pipes are set up.

No way your comparing the pathfinder and MDX to an Escalade...I definitly agree with DA-MAX on this note!!!
give me a chance and the Escalade would be in my garage (the EXT if I needed a truck type)!!!!!!

no I think you're smoking that good ****! the Escalade is in a whole nother class, not only will it destroy both those with the 345 ponies, but you can do it it premium style..... the MDX looks like a poorly imitated RX300(on a car base) IMO! I'm partial to the Pathfinder though, I always liked the styling since back in the day when rappers used to drive around in 'em! but in '02 I'm all for the Escalade!

I think the Escalade is not a true SUV. Tell me one Escalade owner who'd go off-road in their chromed Escalade.

Escalade is an excuse for people to have something that looks like an SUV, but they'd never want to use it like one. It's quite a massive thing, definitely a looker!

Indeed it is, because if i owned one, i would not be taking it offroading either...just like i haven't taken either of my pathfinders off-roading...right now, i'm too afraid of f'ing something up by going off-road...spent good amount of money for each of them, not about to go and screw somethin up just yet ...but a lot of the SUVs on the market are just like that, looks, no off-road...i for one would never take an MDX, X5, M500, Escalade, QX4, etc. offroading...luxury looks baby..of course, out of that list, there are only 2 that i would buy..the QX4 and the Escalade...i don't really like the other 3

oh yeah of course...IMO 99.9% of these SUVs are made for off-road anymore....if I was into offroading I'd get a Jeep Wrangler or something to that effect....now a days most manufacturers make SUVs for style and bad drivers(*cough* soccer moms *cough*).
