well the harness won't make your bulbs any brighter but they will save you from melting your stock harnesses (expensive repair). definately get a upgraded harness. too many guys on this board have toasted their stocks running higher wattage bulbs. at $40 it's a cheap investment. btw - that $40 is from suvlights.com. i believe it's the 9004 toyota model.

I would reccomend getting one. I bought one, b/c I didn't want to risk the chance of burning out my harness. I got mine from: http://suvlights.tripod.com/

differences in harness?

I was wondering if there were any difference in upgrade wire harness ... like quality wise or anything between the different kind out there. Like for instance the one that autodynamic.com sells looks like its more professional looking and seems to me like it has more wires compared to the suvlights.com one. Any information on this would be appreciated. Thank you

I don't think there's a big difference between the one from autodynamic.com and suvlights.com I know the one from suvlights.com attaches to the battery and there's a ground for each socket. I bought from suvlights, b/c a lot of people reccomended that place.

I got mine from suvlights.com too and love it. Just be sure you ground it very well. I'd be willing to bet that most of the people having problems with the harnesses melting or burning out is because of a poor ground.
