I was thinking about the option of getting a Carbon fiber hood but I have a beige max. Im thinking that it would look a lil too ricey for beige. does anybody have beigh and a CF hood? any pics? I might probably just paint it since I only want it for the weight reduction rather than the CF look.

I dont think it would be to ricey, look at how many people have them on a maxima, it would be original and pretty cool on a maxima.

 

HA...tell that to the 17 second Civic DXs with CF hoods...man after all that weight reduction they're running 16.8s! on our cars I'm pretty sure on majority of cars its 60/40 for looks. but they are light, I'll admit that!

 

 

i could only see it if you're trying to get achieve a 10 second car or something. I wouldn't do it on a beige car...like sprint says...RICEY!

Can it be painted in the normal way? I am just curious since it is made out of different material. Might be stupid question but curious.

No, most CF hoods have a laminate or clear coat so you cannot just paint over it. However with a little sanding I'm sure any bodyshop could paint it.
