Turbo

I was wondering if I can put some sort of turbo kit on my 1990 Maxima? If so where can I find it and/or get one intsalled.

Thanks

Jesus &@#&$*#(@$(@# Christ! Do a D**N SEARCH! No, there is NOT a turbo kit for our cars, basically, the cos. who make turbo "kits" do not see the Maxima owner as a potential customer because they can't see past the "Family Sedan" stereotype. Use the search function at the top of the page. Try:

turbo
turbo kit
VG30DETT
VG30ET
z31 turbo

You should get the general idea from that. Also, don't even ask about swapping in the 3.5L (VQ35DE). That should keep you from getting flamed. Oops, too late.

ask them. they don't have turbo kits but i'm guessing they might make a custom one for you if you have LOTS of cash. who knows?

It says to call their offices for pricing and availability. I'm sure it's just to see about generating interest. They get enough people interested and they'll put it together. Like when they came on here awhile back and said they were going to try to put one together. Either that or they've decided to do custom kits like djslinkyz said.

Upon inspecting JWT's site

There is a "Turbo" link listed after selecting "Maxima." If you notice, it takes you nowhere. I believe the only reason it's there is because of the relationship between the VG30E and the VG30ET (wonder what that is....?) JWT is very away of those who seek to swap engines and may have it there to influence customers to contact them in order to sale an extra Sport turbo upgrade system. That's my theory anyway.

JWT makes a turbo program for our ECUS

Jeff92se and Matt93se both have T6 turbo's on their cars. You might want to ask them.
