I just noticed this today, but im smelling what smells like exhaust or gas, inside the cabin are. Now lately all ive done it disable vtcs, and i do have my bottom pieces of dash(cd area and controls) removed. Maybe its just coming up through mear the shifter. Any ideas? I smell the same thing, but only when I have fresh air coming in through the vents. I thought it was a fuel leak but it doesn't seem to be.

It's your rubber fuel lines. They're old and cracked. When cold they expand letting fuel seep out. Once warm they're fine. Replace the lines and it will be gone

If it were a leaky exhaust manifold, what kind of job is that. Just replacing some screws and a seal or somthin?

Ok i checked it out today. No smell in engine area, it seem sto be under the shifter or that area. If i go ahead ans replace all the rubber lines and steel ones, should i get them bigger if i want to get a bigger fuel pump, injectors and regulator. Any suggestions on yes or no, and what kind of injectors, pump, fuel regulator to buy.

Bleh, same problem I'm having, and I told someone to fix it... They put a "custom" exhaust on and never fixed the problem...
Thinking of filing a lawsuit against them so they'll pay to actually have it fixed...
I called an exhaust specialist that my brother knows, and he said it's on the books for 6 hours, and usually takes longer then that, at $62/hr...
I'm thinking of just letting it go until my car is paid off in 2 more years and buying a new one
