how is the shift **** normally connected to the stick?

any specific sizing in this?
or do i just keep lookin for ones that they they fit maximas?

Maybe the shift ***** I have used in the past suckked but, for the most part after market shift ***** will fit most most cars. The cheaper (maybe expensive ones to?) shift ***** come with multiple sleeves you can pick the right one for your shifter and then screw the **** on to the sleeve

well im gonna cut the stick down a little
so no more threads
this is probably a bad idea

alright you convinced me
is there any way i can do this without removing the stick ?
i mean would it be smart to cut it down while stilll in the car??
what would ya recommned cuttin it with>?
