Bang for $ mods

WANTED: the best bang for the $ mods based on your own experiances

I have just purchased a 02 GLE auto and am looking for the best performace per $ mods available. I am not into MAJOR mods such as
superchargers/turbos or extremely loud exhaust. This is my family
car and my wife (who need not know what I am up to...) will be driving it as much as I am. I may also upgrade my wheels/tires to
18x8.0 with 245/45/18's (given no clearance problems) to give a slightly more aggressive stance and install strut braces. Mostly interested in speed/quickness.

Thanks for and and all suggestions!

SS

I don't use the stuff myself but I would recommend nitrous considering it's only on when you want it. You could hide the switch away and maybe the bottle, if your crafty, and noone else need know.

Re: Bang for $ mods

Congrats on the purchase

Are you talking about speed, styling or handling mods?

Power: Y-Pipe
Handling: RSB

Do a search on those things and you'll find a lot of good info here from previous threads.

horsepower

The intake is nice, good gain and sweet sound at wot but otherwise sounds pretty stock. There is a Y - pipe in development which should bring 10-20 hp.

Oh yeah...oops. The RSB is still a good call in my opinion.

Steve: You're supposed to make the subject of those posts..."shameless self-promotion."

I'm just playing around...I really don't care about the self-advertising.

Re: Bang for $ mods

Hands down my intake is the best bang for the buck mod out there.
