what kind of aluminum spoiler is it?? most of them are universal, the 52" length usually applies to the actual length of the wing, not the space between the mounting posts!

and I think Brandon was just being a smartass..

do you think it will look alright? just the length (over the overall length) of the wing? does anyone know where the wing should hang over? should it just about hang over the egde of the trunk? or should it hang over the whole entire rear of the car.

i have been trying to look up pics, where people have mounted the wing. but not to much luck yet. thanks for your help.

I think you would probably be much happier with a 61 or 58" wing. 52" isn't even enough wing to go from one end of the trunk to the other and I think it would look kinda funny, but it's all a matter of preference. Personally, I would get a carbon fiber wing if you can afford it. Might actually serve some purpose on the back of your Max...

i think aluminum wings are a joke. its the typical rice style, so if you wanna look like every other honda out there, then go for it. whatever floats your boat.

Like I said, it's all a matter of personal preference. Kinda like altezzas and coffee cans stickin out your back bumper...

well

My wing is 61" and it hangs over about 1.5" on each side and i think it looks good like that. Dont listen to these people if you want it get it, If you like F them. Since The day I started doing that (doing things because I thought they look good) my cars never looked better. some people will say my car is ricey, I think its one of the top 5 hottest 3rd gens here.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD NOOOOOOOOO!!!! J/K Anyways, one thing I have to say is that, if you absolutely have to put one of those aluminum wings on there, at least make sure its not too big and hangs off the side. I think that really looks like crap when you put one of those on there and they hang off each side like 4-5". I have one question for you guys. Why hasn't anyone thought of using BMW spoilers on 3rd gens? I mean there are quite a few cool spoilers for BMW's that would really help the looks of our cars but I have yet to see a single one. I am currently considering getting a E34 5 series or e46 3 series Hamann DTM spoiler but, I think I'll do the spoiler last (after wheels, body kit and power mods!).

stock 3rd gen wing is the best...simple subtle design but gives the whole car a complete finish look.

hmm a lip spoikler would be interesting actually. personally, i CANT stand the look of the aluminum wings. they look totally out of place, and like pure crap..

Anybody ever tried the lip wing from a Q45?? I always thought that would be cool, but never checked it out to see how it would fit.

I have a carbon fiber spoiler I ordered from a Japanese Nissan dealer. It is from an R34 Skyline GT-R. I am waiting until this weekend to paint the posts and put it on. When it gets on I'll post some pics. Should be the object of envy...

Patrick, go for it bro. I've seen your car and you're right. A wing would definitely be a nice touch. Your car is agressive looking and adding it would be different on it. Try it out, if you like it, thats all that matters.
