If you feel like wasting $50 then take this race.

He said he's auto. Knowing this it doesn't matter if 330ci is stick or auto.

It's either 2001 or 2002, no difference in performance. There were no 330s available before 2001.

What's a 330ci come stock with? Power? Weight? What kind of numbers do they put up? Just curious if me and my 5-speed encounter one. I want to know whether or not to challenge it.

My friend has 2001 330ci 5spd. He is stock and im 5spd with i/y. We did a punch at 40mph and he instantly pulled a car. It stayed exactly like this until 90mph. I guess they at least have a stronger 2nd gear than us. I wouldnt recommend racing your bud.

Not as obsessed as me I bet hehe...

In an auto Max, I'd keep my money safely in my pocket and just race him for fun.

Even if he had an auto and you had a 5sp, I still think he may be able to take you ... those cars are pretty damned fast and their version of the "autostick" (which I would NEVER personally buy, but ...) has excellent shifting and YOU pick the shift points. Sure it's PROBABLY slower than a 5sp 330, but not by much if any at all ... keep your $50 safe - leave it at home and race his a$$ anyway

I totally agree. I figure I'll just get a used 540i in about 2 years and slap some HUGE rims on it. The 97+ 540's (until recently) just had rims that were too small and would need VERY minor exterior modification. Lord knows the engine is potent enough
