2002 Turbo kit?
2002 Turbo kit?
Don't know if this has been posted, as I don't come into the 5th gen forum that often, but I came across this on altimas.net:
300 HP to the Wheels! Turbo Kit for 2002 Altima - Interested ?
Gotta figure if they do this, it could be easily adapted to the 2002 Maxima's.
300 HP to the Wheels! Turbo Kit for 2002 Altima - Interested ?
A reliable friend of mine (Ludespeed Performance owner) has been manufacturing GREAT turbo kits for import applications. He is located in Florida, experienced in quality turbo kit design and installation. This will be a truly bolt on kit. Ludespeed performance has great reviews and reputation.
He is currently interested in producing an intercooled turbo kit for the 2002 Nissan Altima. The kit will most likely be available for both 3.5L and 2.5L. The ballpark Wheel Horse Power that will be produced is around 300whp.
All we want to know right now is how many people have the interest and the money to purchase this kit. Production will depend upon your demand.
Basic Specs:
* 100% Bolt-On kit , no custom fabrication will be needed
* Intercooled
PRICE: approximately $4000
Please post your questions in this thread.

Wasn't the same guy over here a while back promising a turbo for the Max?
Why indeed it was

Anyways, it might be worth watching...if they do an Altima kit, I think a Maxima kit would be soon to follow.
Most of those guys(in that thread) don't know jack. "I'll buy it if it's 2k instead of 4k? "can I take it off for warranty reasons?". And I would bet that 90% of the ones that say "yes" won't buck up the cash when it's showtime.
