Will the JWT ECU from an AUTOMATIC work with a 5 speed?

I am interested in buying a JWT ECU from a person, but his car is an auto (95-96) and I have a 5 speed (96). I'm assuming it will work, but I need to know for sure ASAP.

Nevermind, auction is over. I decided not to go for it. Went for a good price though, $405.

Interesting,...Im not sure. When I first ordered my JWT ECU, I was told that my CE light would always be on because there was no ECU for an A/T, just a manual. Thus, the only ECU available to 95-96 A/T WAS the ECU for manuals. They have since programmed an ECU strictly for A/T, which I was lucky to grab before they got cracking on my core.

This is an interesting topic.

Wow, if it would have worked that sucks... I was ready to bid in the last minute but decided not to because I wasn't sure it would work. It sold for $405...

It should work. I've seen Z guys use the JWT ecu made for autos in manuals.
