Nissan Emblem

Hey can someone please tell me the nissan hamburger emblem on the top of my trunk... Is it glued on or .. Screwed in ???

I think I read somewhere before that if you remove that you'll expose two holes.

The emblem is held on with adhesive, but there are two holes in the trunk located behind the emblem for the guide pins on the emblem.

Damn Nissan did that for a reason.. just to make things more complicated.
