Bad Rear Suspension on 4th Gen?
98 Max SE (30 000 miles)- when I load the car up with some groceries and some boxes and with nobody in the back seats, the cars rear end looks like it is extremely low compared to the front.
Looks like I have a 500 pound lady stuffed in my trunk.
Is this normal for the max suspension? I just noticed this when my buddy was driving my car and I was following behind her.
ANyway, should I change my syspension with something stiffer in the back? If I lowered my car, would the rear now scrape the bottom?
Thanks guys, I am stuck with this one.

I am pretty sure that is how the 4th Gen looks. Even if you empty the trunk, the rear of the car is a little lower than the front. Hence when you put something inside the trunk it exaggerates the look. With most aftermarket springs the spring rate is such that you won't have this problem. I know with my Sprints the rear sits 1 finger higher in the back, but this evens out with the downforce of highway speeds. If you put something in the trunk it doesn't sag though.
