New 99

just curious, I had a 93 Maxima SE that I just traded for a 99 Maxima GXE...on the 93 I noticed that the cornering lamps would get brighter when the turn signal was turned on, but on the 99 this isn't the case for either left or right turn signals. Does anyone here know if 99 models just doesn't have this feature, or do you guys think that maybe the bulbs are just shot? Also, my sister has a 96 model that the corner lamps get bright as well when the signals are turned on. Any help would be great, thanks in advance.

it did it on the 95/96 but they didn't do it in 97-99...nissan left the capability in however, and there is a write-up on it on maximadriver.com i think...but it is possible to do it

I would just rewire it so that it stays on all at 27w all the time. There is also a write up on this. Search for it.

thanks guys,I appreciate the information. I wasn't looking to rewire or anything though I know where to go if needed. Just curious if I had bad bulbs. Again thanks for the help.
