questions about rust repellents

trying to put FSTB in and i don't have WD-40 to remove nuts...i have this motor oil type thing for like rusts on lawn mowers and bike chains and stuff...i put it on the nuts...would that work?

NUTS BREAKING! help!

i just went out and did a counter clockwise motion on one of the nuts and it didn't budge, just started getting scratched up....my wrench was moving but the screw wasn't...someone help me...i need help wit this

correct wrench?

Are you using the correct size wrench? If you don't have the correct metric size, a 7/8 six point will work.

i had the correct size, just the wrong tool...i went to my personal mechanic and he did it for me wit this funny 2 piece wrench thing...had to charge him 5 bucks just to take off some dam bolts! I did everything myself which wasn't much...but i have an FSTB now!!!!

congratulations

A big part of getting mechanical work done is having the right tool or tools. Many times, it is worth buying the tool you need and you will have it next time. Your mechanic probably used a socket, and a rachet or a crows foot. When I installed my FSTB a socket and rachet worked. Congratulations.
