How can i make my rims look shinier?

I have the standard rims on my 215/55 R16 tires. It looks good, but even if i clean them, is there any way to make them look a little shinier? Anything to rub on them or scrub on them. i don't want to fork out 1000 bucks to get some rims, i just want my current ones to look a "little" better.

thanks

bryan

I used a product that i baught at autozone that had both a cleaner and a protectant in the box that worked pretty well, any cleaner should work well to shine them up with enough elbo greese, for real stuck on grime use a degreaser.

Cool. Anything that can be used even if they are spotless of grime, oil and dirt?

If you wheels have lost their shine because you have been using Eagle One and Castrol wheel-cleaners, or just didn't bother to clean them for a long time, YES. Might I remind everyone that the best tools for cleaning wheels are WATER, SOAP, and a SOFT BRUSH.

So, just go to my local Autozone and pick up some turtle wax and apply a small amount and rub completely in, and wallah, more shine?

So that stuff can be used on rims that are 4 years old (hence 1998 maxima)and they are factory rims, and it could add some shine to them?

ive used metal polish before and it cleans all the little dirt and stuff that normal scrubbing wont get rid of, but make sure to check the finish of your wheels first to make sure a metal polish wont harm them
