I already have a custom cat-back system with a flowmater muffler and a 3 in tip. I have gotten alot of mixed reactions arond here but most think its good. My question is how will the sound change with a CAI or popcharger?

 

You will hear more of a deeper growl from under the hood. The CAI will give you the louder of the two.

Hey Guys...here's my experience with just a Stillen Cat back including Stillen Muffler rear section and up front Stillen Hi Flo K&N intake set up...no CAI. The exhaust sound level and Intake growl level seem about the same from the drivers seat. At WOT, the combination of the two noise sources is dramatic....and a real attention getter. People in the know, know why my Maxima is so loud...people not in the know, can't figure out why that guy's Maxima luxury sedan is so loud!!!!! It's impressive.
